Our straddle carriages are built using quality materials and a proven design, they incorporate many features making riding comfortable and ownership worry-free.
Designed as a series along with the passenger cars, these are designed for connection direct to the loco and with capacity to carry batteries.
These are set to a "Low" height to match passenger carriages, or a "High" height for more comfortable driving.
Different versions are available to suit different locos, voltages and battery capacity requirements.
All cars include the following features:
Black powder coated frames and painted timber foot and end boards
Colorbond® steel sides.
Power cut-off switch, circuit breakers and cabling for the specified voltage and number of batteries
Battery hold-down clamps
Batteries un-plug and can stay in the car for charging using our optional charger cable (if using your own charger) or one of our pre-wired chargers.
Hand operated parking brake
Flashing tail lights
1.8m cars include a mid-seat divider
Padded seat for driver comfort.
Heavy duty bogies with full suspension.
Strong steel frame fully painted for protection.
Timber end panels.
