7.25'' "Rob Roy" Steam Locomotive - Adelaide SA - S1252

7 ¼” gauge Steam locomotive “ROB ROY”, a Martin Evans design.

This is a very well made model with a copper boiler, side tanks made from brass, steel wheels which are showing no signs of wear, a displacement and a mechanical lubricator.

The boiler ticket is now expired, however has a good history and can be renewed at your local club.

A new stainless grate has been fitted as the original although functional and has seen many years of service is due for replacement. The original grate is included.

Boiler water feed is by the axle pump, steam injector or a double acting steam powered feed pump.

In addition a hand pump as part of the riding car equipment could be used.

Additional equipment:

• Stainless steel shovel.
• 12Volt steam raising blower.
• Chimney spark arrestor.
• Transporting track section with holding brackets that capture the locomotive by the buffers. If this track section is bolted down the engine is safe and secure.
• A rolling road jinker on caster wheels.

• 1.8 metre long riding car, fully braked and housing a 12 litre water tank.
• A bolt- on coal hopper and a bolt- on narrow tank housing a hand boiler feed pump.
• A holding clip for the shovel to sit after the driver has fired the engine while in motion.
• A mechanical hand or drill powered elevating track trolley on casters. Made to lift the riding car forloading or unloading..
